DVLA’s Second Timed Auction of 2018 Raises over £1.5m

DVLA’s second Timed Auction of 2018 closed yesterday. 91% (1,822) of the lots went under the hammer and £1,517,610 was raised, giving an average hammer price of £833.

2,000 registrations were on offer over a ten day period with prices starting from £70. The 3 highest prices were MLL 11E (£11,340), 675 MSO (£10,500) and AJM 4N (£7,010).

The next DVLA Timed Auction will run from Monday 11th to Wednesday 20th June 2018.

It is an offence to alter, re-arrange, or misrepresent a registration number. There is a maximium fine of £1000, and the registration number can be withdrawn without compensation.
