DVLA Timed Auction Sells 98% of All Lots

DVLA’s second Timed Auction of 2017 closed yesterday. 98% (1,714) of the lots went under the hammer and £1,099,1100 was raised, giving an average hammer price of £641. A record number of bidders (4,644) also registered for the auction.

1,750 registrations were on offer over a ten day period with all prices starting at £50. The 3 highest prices were 244 RAS (£8,510), EES 4S (£8,020) and PLU 61N (£7,500).

The next DVLA Timed Auction will run from Monday 12th to Wednesday 21st June 2017.

It is an offence to alter, re-arrange, or misrepresent a registration number. There is a maximium fine of £1000, and the registration number can be withdrawn without compensation.
