DVLA’s August Timed Auction Achieves 99% Conversion and £1.4 million

DVLA’s fourth Timed Auction of 2018 closed yesterday. 99% (493) of the lots went under the hammer and £1,433,410 was raised, giving an average hammer price of £2,908.

500 registrations were on offer over a ten day period with prices starting from £250. The 3 highest prices were 700 O (£25,010), 911 BS (£18,610) and 17 SJS (£14,020).

The next DVLA Timed Auction will run from Monday 15th to Wednesday 24th October.

It is an offence to alter, re-arrange, or misrepresent a registration number. There is a maximium fine of £1000, and the registration number can be withdrawn without compensation.
