DVLA’s Timed Auction Achieves 93% Conversion and £1.4 Million Hammer Price

DVLA’s fourth and final Timed Auction of 2017 closed yesterday. 93% (1,714) of the lots went under the hammer and £1,139,000 was raised, giving an average hammer price of £664.
1,840 registrations were on offer over a ten day period with prices starting from £70. The 3 highest prices were 550 WSR (£23,160), G50 RGE (£7,530) and AMR 14T (£6,210).
The next DVLA Timed Auction will run from Monday 22nd to Wednesday 31st January 2018.
It is an offence to alter, re-arrange, or misrepresent a registration number. There is a maximium fine of £1000, and the registration number can be withdrawn without compensation.
