Superb Apple-related Personalised Registration Up For Auction in the DVLA’s Surprise Summer Sale

Devoted fans of Apple’s famed Mac Book computers are being given the unique opportunity to literally nail their colours to their cars thanks to the DVLA who has included the registration MAC 800K in its latest online Timed Auction.
The registration, which clearly relates to the much sought after hi-tech machine, is one of 500 with reserves ranging from £250 to £2,500 released by the Agency for its summer Timed Auction. The 10-day sale commenced on Monday and will climax on Wednesday, August 15.
Those looking for their personal named-related registrations need to scour through the listing too, as ever there are numerous including WH17 NEY, arguably the closest available to Whitney which has been assigned a £400 reserve. Other prime examples of name-related registrations include CA11 THY, MA17 HEW, PA11 ULS and TO11 MMY, each with £400 reserves.
The DVLA has also ensured there’s an extensive range with direct correlations to sports cars including 25 FER (£1,200) and MC18 REN (£400), which are clearly fitting for Ferrari and McLaren owners. As for fun-related registrations, as ever the sale has a host including BED 200M (£250), HOP 111T (£250) and TEE 601F (£250).
Jody Davies, DVLA Personalised Registrations’ Senior Sales Manager, said: “We only planned to hold four Timed Auctions this year. However, with the ever-growing demand from our customers and the incredible array of registrations available has enabled us to add a fifth into our calendar.”
