The next DVLA Sealed Bid Sale will be early 2010.

A DVLA Sealed Bid Sale differs from a DVLA Auction in two main ways:
- There is no live, physical auction to attend. Instead, all bids are submitted to the auctioneers, prior to the bidding deadline.
- Bidders make "Sealed Bids" which are invisible to other bidders. When the deadline has passed, all bids are opened and each lot is sold to the highest bidder for the amount of their bid.
The lowest bid that will be accepted is the Reserve Price for each lot. The Reserve Price is the minimum price at which a lot will be sold. You can make any bid you like above the reserve price but it must be in increments of £10. No bids in pence will be taken.

Once you have placed your bids, you will have total freedom to alter your bids up until the deadline. You will also be able to add or subtract lots and increase or decrease your bids.
WARNING: IF YOU INTEND TO PURCHASE A REGISTRATION NUMBER IN ORDER
TO MISREPRESENT IT ON A NUMBER PLATE, WE WOULD PREFER YOU DID NOT BUY.
